I agree with you, it's a great record, one of my favourites of last year. Island Row is his second album, the first is called Sounds of the Empire, plus there's the Roadeater EP which features 'Pillow' and three others. All on Planet Mu, all roughly in the same vein, all excellent. The closest references points I'd make are Windowlicker, Cornelius, Beta Band, maybe even some Beck... they've all got that skewed melody thing, and interesting instrumentation / production. The only tune I hate is Dance On, mainly because Prince always makes me retch... Anthony. ps.
